Class warfare begins with the rich and ends with you.  Here we go again with the same old socialist song of taking from the rich and giving to the poor.  They make this song sound so good and even justifiable to those who are less fortunate when in truth and in fact it is all an illusion.

In the illogic mind of a socialist there is no innovation from an individual.  According to socialist, creativity and innovation are as a result of the state providing the education and the environment for this creativity to exist.  If it were not for the state, these could not occur.  This is why socialist feel completely justified in taking almost all proceeds from successful innovators and redistributing it as they see fit.  Do you remember Obama saying in a speech “If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.” https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2012/jul/18/context-obamas-you-didnt-build-comment/   Do you see here how socialist discount the effort and ingenuity of the individual.  He gives credit only to the government for creating the internet when we all know that Al Gore really created it. 🙂

If you look at it the very successful in our society they created something that fulfilled a need or desire for our society.  Jeff Bezos created Amazon, Bill Gates gave us Windows, Steve Jobs gave us Apple and the list could go on and on.  These people did not create these icons on their own but they had the vision as individuals to recognize the future desires of our society.  These types of individuals are on the cutting edge of changing the direction of our society, whether it is with medical breakthroughs, energy production and transmission, transportation, or any other sector you can imagine that shapes our society.  Oh and by the way, it is not multi-billion dollar businesses alone that shape our society; it is mostly millions of small businesses in areas across our country that fill a need, employ people, and turn a profit for the owners who work hard for their rewards. These people take risks and create.

Why do they create?  They create because they have a passion for it and because they see a need and or desire in our society.  They feel that by filling this desire society will benefit and they and others will be rewarded financially for their innovation and risk taking.

So here is the million dollar question, would potential creators create if they knew the state would confiscate 90% of their income from their invention or innovation?  Guess what, we have a real life answer for this question, they would not.  A prime example is China.  Can you give me one example of a major innovation or invention that originated in China?  I’m waiting, please take your time.  Don’t sprain your brain, because you won’t be able to name one.  China copies, and steals our intellectual property because there is no incentive for anyone to create in China.  The state controls the means and the rewards of creativity thereby removing the incentive to create.  So, China copies and does not recognize U.S. or any other country’s patent or copyright laws.

I am writing this hoping you will grasp the impact of what people like Elizabeth Warren, Ocasio Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Beto O’Rourke are proposing when they say they will confiscate the wealth or tax the rich at 70 or 90 percent rates.  Innovation and creativity will cease or be very rare in the new socialist America.

Another very important reality is that even if you confiscate or tax 100% of the wealth of the top 5% income earners in America it would not be enough to pay for the programs the above mentioned want to provide.  Let that sink in now, I am telling you they would need more money.

So where in America could they get this kind of money?  Well, if you are still reading this then the answer is you and I.  You and I would be re-categorized as being wealthy or rich.  We would be taxed at least the 50% level and maybe more.  Our 401K’s would be nationalized and the government would allot what it feels we need for retirement.  I guarantee you something like this would have to happen to fund their socialist desires.  So when you hear these Democrats talk about taxing the rich more, you must understand that includes you.  They cannot divulge that, but listen how they scramble when they are challenged on the fact that the ultra-rich can’t pay for all their programs.  They will not give a direct answer because they know it would not be received well by those of us who have worked hard for what we have.

Just always remember this, freedom and individualism is the foundation for creativity and success is the reward for innovation.  America is the beacon of light for freedom in a growing darkness of socialism.
